Activity ideas for teaching a spanish class?
I volunteered to help teach a 1st grade class spanish, however we’re out of “fun” activity ideas.. to help reinforce some really basic things they have learnt (colors, numbers, foods etc.)
Does anyone have any creative ideas for activities or games that involve basic spanish?
Thanks!
have a look at http://www.frenchspanishonline.com it is free with audio files and many activities for primary schools
This is a question in regards to my daughter who is 8 yrs..old ?…?
She seems to be ahead of the game in school and ahead in many areas..for example she got the award for the year in her school with a medal and has been student of the month twice at a time in all school years and has brought in many other school subjects awards continuously but I dont know where to take this to now….? She had her dad buy her a course to learn another language (french) but she is already bi-lingual fluent in spanish and english so what can I do as a parent to keep my daughter up with her development as she progresses? I hope there’s a mom out there that knows what I mean…and can help me out. Thank you.
I have got many great suggestions from all of you!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH.
My five year old daughter is very similar to your daughter. She is the smartest out of my three children and always wanting to learn new things. Talk to the school she attends and ask them to put her in more advanced classes. My daughter was just in preschool, and the teacher decided to work on my advanced academics with her because she was so far ahead of the others. If your daughter wants to learn new things, then do whatever you can to make it happen. The downside is she may become slightly bored in school is she is ahead of the game. The likelihood that they will advance her to the next grade in school is unlikely though because they don’t do that to much anymore. I would ask about the gifted and talented program at school and put her in any type of programs that will challenge her. You may have to look at outside resources for this, unfortunately, because if she is in public school, they did not spend a great deal of money on the gifted students.
