newgrounds.com has a HUGS selection of flash games. I don’t have a mac, but I’m pretty sure most of the games work… check it out! Btw, if you can’t find good games (and thats extremely unlikely) look up thing thing (1-4), Hanna in a Choppa is good if you like casual games. Aether is really good. Have fun!
Why do PC games cost more than Mac games, and take longer to come out?
No bitching on me cause I have a Mac, please. My choice, don’t need to defend it. Conversely, don’t tell me to go buy a PC or use Boot Camp.
It doesn’t seem fair…the new Sims 3 is compatible on both Mac and PC, which is a slight improvement, I guess. However, I’ve no interest in that game at the moment.
Speaking of the Sims, why aren’t they bringing out Free Time and Apartment Life (and innumerable Stuff packs) for the Mac version of Sims 2?
It can’t be a case of Macs not being popular, or Apple wouldn’t have stayed in business for so many decades.

Not so, my Mac runs games much more smoothly than my boyfriend’s PC, and we’ve had them for roughly the same amount of time.

EA Games published Sims2 for PC. Then after the Sims2 PC game was out in stores, Aspyr would get a copy and convert it for Macs. Because there were so many fewer people playing on Macs, Aspyr had to charge more per game to make it worthwhile for them to spend all the time re-coding the games. I read a rumor a while back (forget where) that Aspyr was not going to be porting any more Sims2 games from PC to Mac.
Now for Sims3, EA is publishing disks that work in both PC and Macs, so obviously it’s the same price for either platform.
