My brother wants to play world of warcraft on the computer, but I am afraid of getting a virus. Can I get a virus from playing a game online against other players?
No, a virus is going to come from email or a web browser most of the time. WoW isn’t going to give you a virus.
That being said, if as a WoW player you go to the WoW official forums in your web browser, a lot of people on there try to infect you with keyloggers to steal your account.
So play the game, but stay off of the forums.
Free downloadable games..?
I want some free downloadable games that I can play on my computer. I’ll be going on a trip so I won’t be able to get on the internet to play them. Not free trials, either, and they have to be safe and virus-free.
I would buy games off of iTunes, but as I could only play them on my iPod and not my computer..
