Hi mate,
Xbox360 runs on pc hardware and software and is made buy microsoft who are prettu much industry leaders. I did a comparison for Spiderman 3 on the Xbox360 and Playstation 3 and found that whilst both games and pretty bad frames (not the consoles just the developers rushed the game out to market to coincide with the movie release) and that during fight sequences with thugs or during web swininging the Ps3 jugged at times almsot like a pc version of the Game. The Xbox360 whilst still poor workedolor a bit better. processors for the Playstation 3 enable richer color textres whilst the Xbox360 enables betetr lighting (which i prefer). Ultimately its up to you mate but i like how you have an open mind

I have a 360. I was wanting to get a PS3, and get the 80 gig or whatever so I can play PS2 and PS1 games.
The problem is I have only spotted 5 games I REALLY want for it.

now that the new ps3’s are out
they have the ps3 slim 120 GB for $299.99 at almost every store that deals with video games. but if you want to play ps2 games – they dont manufature the old ps3’s no mroe so you will ahve to get a used one and the cost will vary . ( it could range from 299.99 to 399.99)

2.Around $299.99 / depends ( ~300 to ~400)

i bought my ps3 (old version) a bout a year and a couple of months ago ( brand new) for about 600 dollars and im still lovin it….. its just GREAT ..and FREE ONLINE
but yo you might wanna keep in mind that all new ps3’s are lacking ps2 game compatibility , Flash card reader drive, and they all have 2 USB ports ( but my one has 4 , since its the old one)

*oh and the guys saying that the 80 gb cant play ps2 games – i have an 80 gb that plays ps2 and its not chipped and i also have friends who have un-chipped ps3 80 gb and they can play ps2 games
