The Xbox 360 is a Microsoft answer to the other competitors. It is the second video game console produced by Microsoft since Xbox. A prominent feature of the Xbox 360 is its integrated Xbox Live service that allows players to compete online and download content such as arcade games, game demos, trailers, TV shows, and movies. Major features of the console include its Windows Media Centre multimedia capabilities, mandatory support of high definition in all games, movie rentals and game downloads from its online marketplace and the ability to watch HD DVD movies with an add-on drive.

* The Xbox 360 Elite
It is the second most expensive variation of the console. It includes a 120 GB hard drive and a matte black finish. The Elite retail package also includes a controller and headset that match the system’s black finish. The initial release price was US$479.99 cut down to $399 on September 4, 2008. The Elite was released in Europe on August 24, 2007, and Australia on August 30, 2007. As of 2009 Elite models using the Jasper chipset have become available; these are identified by a 12.1V power supply.

It is the most expensive variation of the console. It includes a 250 GB hard drive and a flat black finish. The Super Elite retail package also includes two black controllers and a headset that match the system’s black finish. The initial release price will be US$399.99. The Elite will be released in the US on November 10, 2009. Launch consoles will bundled with Modern Warfare 2 or Forza Motorsport 3.

Xbox 360 awards and update?
I have a question or 2 about the awards and the november update. 1st, do you need to buy the game after september 2009 for the awards to work? for example, i bought mercenaries 2 b4 september, so do i sell it back and buy another copy to get awards? 2nd, how do i determine if i can get awards for a game? 3rd, i started the facebook/ myspace update on accident and stopped b4 it downloaded. now i can’t get on xbox live. what can i do so i don’t have 2 download the update abd still play on xbox live? 4th, where can i go to that shows all the awards for all of the xbox 360 games? and 5th, which is kind of off topic, what is the best free mouse app that allows u to use ur ipod touch as a mouse? thanks 4 answering my questions! bye!
