Games Nfo Questions
how to install downloaded game file?
i downloaded several games from the torrent. few of them are having .bin, .nfo, .uif, .7z, .mdf, .daa formats. can u plz tell me how can i enjoy these games. thanx
Some of these files need to be extracted like the 7z files. The bin files are disk images and can be burned to a dvd using dvd decrypter. I’m not sure about the other formats. They’re probably game roms that you need an emulator for. (Snes9x, Project64, etc…)
Need help installing a bittorrent downloaded game!?
I’m confused, and hoping someone here will help me. I downloaded an expansion to a game I have (unfixable cd-rom drive, unable to install games by cd-rom, and the game in particular is unable to be bought and downloaded from the company).
I downloaded a bittorrent of it, and the folder, when opened included an .nfo file, a .rar file, and files ending in .01 to .07.
I have no idea how to install this. Can someone help me out?

I’ll answer your question because it’s not up to me to decide what you do and how you do it. 
You need a program called WinRAR or WinZip to extract the RAR file. The RAR file is a compressed file. the files with the extension .01 – .07 is because the file is split into 7 compressed files. Once you start unzipping the main rar file or the .00 file, it will automatically unzip the other 6 or 7.
The NFO is a file that will probably tell you how to open and install the expansion pack. You can open the NFO by right clicking it –> Open with –> Notepad. Then you can read the NFO. If you double click it, it will try to open unsuccessfully in a System file so don’t do that.
Once you get the files unzipped you may be faced with a different problem. You may end up with a software image, like, .iso, or bin/.cue, or .mod. There are several. You’ll then need to burn the image to a CD or DVD or mount the image. For the sake of space, I’ll just tell you how to burn the image. You can do with with most CD/DVD software apps,even Roxio Media Creator does it, as does Magic ISO, Power ISO to name a few. If you have that software, you can burn your image to CD or DVD and install it from there. If it unzips to a bunch of folders and you have a Setup.exe, you can just run that and it should install.
